Everyone's heard the cliche.

This year, we need to come up with a new one.

7 Teams in the NFL

CAR

STL

TAM

WAS

DET

TEN

KC

Between them, they are 6-40. Taken alone, that isn't so bad. Someone has to lose.

Here's the thing though,

These teams are 6-6 against each other....and 0-34 against the rest of the league. Unless CAR beats ARZ this week in ARZ (an unlikely proposition to be sure), these 7 teams will have gone 1/2 the season without beating anyone but each other.

The worst team of the bunch may be WAS, and they have 2 wins.

These teams essentially have NO CHANCE against the other 25 teams. There will be double digit spreads anytime these teams play real NFL teams.

Note that this list EXCLUDES CLE (because they beat BUF who beat NYJ) and OAK (because they beat PHI).

For all the talk of parity, the NFL SUCKS!!!

The top of the league is the same as we expect (IND, NE, NYG, MIN, PIT) and there is a bunch of CRAP sitting at the bottom.

The Pirates suck, but at least they beat the cardinals sometimes.

I think the NFL's popularity is about to take a serious hit.

PS- There will be more blogging now that the knicks have started. I can't get MSG HD (because Dolan won't give it to Verizon). Somehow, I think watching the knicks will be more enjoyable if its a little blurry.
